Access to the cottage is via a track. Although situated in a rural area there is easy access to the Snowdonia National Park and main road links to coastal areas and in land areas. The surrounding countryside and mountains can be accessed on foot from the cottage. The beach is a 10 minute drive.

Cwtyn is a detached,stone built former swill house,used to prepare pig feed in the 19th century. It has been converted into a cosy self-catering cottage whilst retaining the original stone fireplace and slate hearth.
