Waihi and Waihi Beach are a 15 minute drive away, and it is a 35 minute drive to Tauranga. You also have the opportunity to pushbike or walk some popular tracks in this area, which are a short drive away. This cabin has lovely rural views, so it’s a perfect 1 or 2 night getaway to enjoy some R & R! And remember "You can check out any time you like, but you may never want to leave!"

A deliberately different, John Henderson designed, slightly quirky B & B in Bethlehem, Tauranga - situated next door too, and run by the owners of Somerset Cottage, a long established restaurant and cookschool. You are always welcome to join us at the restaurant on one of the nights we're open - Wednesday to Saturday ( bookings tend to be necessary), or we can bring a restaurant meal over to you in the Studio if you'd prefer to dine in private. The Bach is light, modern, comfortable, within walking distance of beach and village. Sit on the deck and watch the sun go down over the hills, stroll a few hundred metres to the golden sand beach, or across the common to the village for coffee and shopping. There is unlimited fibre internet, ducted air conditioning and heating, and linen and bath-towels are provided. Please bring your own beach-towels. Maximum occupancy is 4 guest. Homewood Cottage

Homewood cottage is situated in a private garden behind the main homestead “Homewood”. Homewood was built in 1876 by Dr Thomas Fletcher and was the original farm house in the area. The cottage was built in the early 1900s when the property was owned by George Alley a well known philanthropist. Guests can enjoy the private lawn and garden around the cottage, and wander down the hedgerow to the pond overlooking the Tauranga harbour.
