Helen s place exceeded our expectations. The house is really big, plenty of space to chill out. The building is a masterpiece of architectural hand made design. It is really genius how they put everything together. The ceiling fans, the locks, the doors. Very creative and it looks fantastic. Helen is very friendly and open for suggestions. It was a pleasure to meet her and we wish Helen a lot of success with all the projects. Highly recommended !

We absolutely loved our time at Angiangi Secret. It’s such a special, private, relaxing house to stay in. We stayed 9 nights in April and really enjoyed what was our third time in beautiful Aitutaki. This was our first in self catering accommodation. We thought it offered amazing value for money compared to where we’ve previously stayed. It’s clean, tidy with loads of towels and a comfy bed. The full fridge/freezer was great and we managed quite well with just a toaster, electric fry pan and panini maker for cooking. We scootered about (on the scooter that Luke hires out) finding beaches and snorkling locations and had some delicious lunches (at Pacific Resort, Tavaé, Avatea and Koru Cafe) before retreating back to the house for some relaxing afternoons poolside. The view is spectacular. Neibars shop and takeaway just a short walk away was very handy. Luke was a very helpful host and will assist with any questions about the island’s activities. Wir haben eine Woche mit Jenny und Dr. Roro verbracht; wir können von Glück sprechen diese Unterkunft gefunden zu haben. Jenny und Roro wohnen die direkt neben an und sind sehr gastfreundlich. Sie sind sehr gut vernetzt auf der Insel und können bei allen möglichen Fragen weiterhelfen. Die Unterkunft ist einwandfrei und hat alles was man braucht. Roro hat uns bei der Beschaffung von Motorrädern unterstützt. Zusätzlich hat er mit uns zweimal mit seinem Privatboot eine Tour in der Lagune gemacht. Wer gerne in Kontakt mit den Locals kommen möchte, sollte auf jeden Fall Donnerstags oder Samstags Nachmittags beim Golfclub auf ein Bier und eine Runde Darts vorbeischauen. Sehr nah zu der Unterkunft gelegen ist auch das Avatea-Café was wir sehr empfehlen können. Selbst wenn wir uns eine Woche in einem Luxusresort leisten könnten, würden wir wieder zu Jenny und Roro kommen. Sie sind nun wie eine Familie für uns. Vielen Dank nochmal für alles!

Lovely and beautiful bungalow right by the sea, very cozy and private. Location is great but I do recommend renting a car or a scooter. Brooke kindly organized a scooter for us which was a great way to explore the island! Would definitely recommend staying at barefoot bungalow and enjoy the laid back island life of Aitutaki :-)

This bungalow is in a beautiful location with an excellent lagoon aspect.The hosts are unbelievable and give service a new meaning. As an example, my wife had an issue with the mattress and we mentioned it to Vaea to see if perhaps she had a possible solution. We never expected her to source a new mattress on this small island, but that is exactly what she did and that very night, my wife had a great nights sleep. Thank you, thank you, thank you Vaea for going truly above and beyond in your response to this issue. Additionally, please take the opportunity to book a private lagoon / snorkeling cruise with her husband Marokii. You will not be disappointed by his service, insights and commentary along the way. They both made our visit to Aitutaki a most memorable experience! Cheers

As it was my partners first time to Aitutaki, Eileen’s residence allowed that island-feel vibe where we were able to absorb the island at our own pace. We weren’t rushed for room service or the breakfast buffet or with family arrangements. No. We soaked Aitutaki slowly but surely. It’s nicely surrounded by nature which allows some privacy from the busy road but not too far to hop to the shop. We made friends with Chad (the goat) and enjoyed making memories. Thank you Eileen for your warm hospitality - will definitely be returning back to you for future Aitutaki plans :)

This Villa is situated at the best location in the island. Your front yard is basically the lagoon. The villa was spacious and all of the amenities were great. There are air conditioning units in each bedroom for those hotter days. Nora was super helpful and responsive. Richard, Nora’s dad, was extremely nice and knowledgeable about the island. He gave us tons of information. Richard also owns a boat and took us on a private lagoon tour. He is a retired fisheries officer with over 30 years of experience and still volunteers to help with conservation efforts of the island. Amazing family and an amazing stay.

Our stay at Tania's place was wonderful!! It was one of the most peaceful weeks of our lives. We spent a good amount of time just gazing out the open French doors (or from the deck, lawn, etc) and taking in the view. The vegetation on both sides of the bungalow adds to the privacy and peace. We enjoyed use of the kayaks, walks on the beach, snorkeling, reading on the lounge chairs, watching the hermit crabs, stargazing, and watching locals spearfish in the lagoon at night. The island hosts, Mu and Ruth, were helpful and friendly, and we appreciated their hospitality. Aitutaki is a special place, indeed, and Tania's place was the perfect spot to unwind.
