The house was as per the website. Lovely roomy house in a great location 5 min walk from lake. It was easy to find and access. Housplenty of space with both ground level and basement bedrooms. Basement area was great for separation of either couples or kids. Happy to stay again.

We had a great stay at Alan’s place! Lovely location with an awesome view. Very central spot and we used the bikes to get around at times! Easy access to the house which was clean and had everything you need. Would definitely go back!

Me and my partner had a excellent stay here. The room was clean and tidy. It’s also only a 15 minute drive into central Napier which was very convenient.

Another wonderful stay here! Highly recommend, our two little boys love the playhouse and sandpit and it is very well placed to access the lake for beautiful walks/bike rides around the lake. 15 min walk to the 2 mile sailing club which is a highlight for coffee, drinks and delicious pizza. Helen was absolutely incredible to deal with, and her house was beautiful. It’s one of those special places where all the little details are thoughtfully taken care of — extra extension cords and plenty of plugs by every bed, cosy electric blankets and lots of extra blankets for chilly nights. The kitchen and bathroom were fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, just like being at home. The location was perfect too — the lounge gets gorgeous sun during the day, and it's only a quick walk to the lake and a 10-minute drive into Taupō town. The supermarket is just a few minutes away, making it super convenient. We had the best time coming together with friends to celebrate a birthday, and Helen’s place was the most perfect setting for it. We couldn't have asked for a better spot!

We booked Jack and Sarah's property for a 2-day strategy workshop, and were not disappointed. The property boasts stunning views, has plenty of bedrooms and beds available for groups, and was perfectly equipped for our needs. The biggest feature we absolutely loved was the private retreat feel close enough to Napier (just under half an hour) however you feel like you're completely away from all the hustle and bustle that comes with a town or city. Every detail in the property is carefully thought out and presented immaculately. Would not hesitate to book again. Highly recommended getaway location.
