Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Close enough to Picton and Waikawa Bay yet far enough away to feel you are a long way from both. A delightful garden studio queen bed plus a small lounge, set on the sunny side of Waikawa at the top of the South Island of New Zealand. Waikawa is a microclimate very sheltered and peaceful, private outdoor living on the guest patio, BBQ, Sheep in the adjacent paddock, 5 minutes to the safe swimming beach, 4 minutes to the local marina, Jolly Roger Café bar. 8 minutes drive to Picton's shops, restaurants and ferry terminal. There are many bush walks. Karaka Point Maori Pa Site is four km .

The Vineyard Retreat is a lovely private and peaceful space set within our Sauvignon Blanc vineyard in the Waihopai Valley. This is a great place to take time out from busy life in a quiet rural setting. With separate guest access and use of a private courtyard garden, this airbnb offers the best of Marlborough's wine country only 10 mins from Renwick and 15 mins to the airport. The Cowshed

Herd of Cows?! Quiet, comfortable and fun accommodation just 15 minutes walk through the picturesque Picton Marina to cafes, bars, shops, theatres, cruises and walking tracks. Free pickup and setdown from ferry may be available. Transfer from Blenheim by arrangement. Be warned......this great priced accommodation is probably nothing like you have ever stayed in previously. My folly and a labour of love! If you don't have a sense of humour or don't like cows.....don't book in! :-)

Your private Bathroom and Toilet is about 20m away in the main house. You can enjoy the peaceful setting in a way like camping used to be 40 years ago.

Stunning views over to the village of Havelock and beyond to the breathtaking Pelorus Sounds and decorated with a stylish Pacific vibe. Watch the boats come and go from the marina and relax on the deck or balcony. The water is tidal so at high tide the water laps at the property boundary. At low tide there are expansive mud flats. The view is constantly changing with lots of bird life. It is north west facing so we get the most beautiful sunsets.
