Annemarie and Chris’ place was so beautiful, truly heavenly. The kayaks were a great adventure for our girls! The artistic details and decor were incredible. Coffee was 🙌🏻. Will be back.

Ligar Bay is a fantastic spot, the changing tides provide so much diversity and interest - we kayaked, paddle boarded, walked and swam in the bay and at surrounding beaches and tracks. The house itself is very clean, with beautiful outlook and the garden is lovely. Furnishings and linen are very stylish and beds were comfortable. We found the lack of curtains/blinds a little challenging - there’s a skylight without a blind directly above master bed, one bedroom has no blind and the other had sheers, which provide privacy but no light. We love our sleep in holiday! We also missed having a dishwasher - some wouldn’t care. We appreciated all the pantry staples, great indoor and outdoor showers and water toys available for guests to use. A stunning place!

We had a lovely Easter stay at Debbie’s property. Her home perfectly suited our young family’s holiday needs while visiting family in Tasman. The Easter bunny even found us in Ruby Bay and left eggs in the garden for the children to discover. Debbie had thoughtfully equipped the home with family touches that made our time at Staffles a home away from home. She was very responsive to our communication. We will definitely be back to stay when next in NZ. Thank you Debbie!

A wonderful home in a beautiful location with stunning views. We particularly enjoyed the pool, spa and being able to walk to amazing restaurants and wine bar. Sally and Wayne were friendly helpful hosts. Highly recommend staying

We absolutely loved our time here. Fantastic host and loved the house ( great view, set up, fit out of the house). Also had fantastic weather which meant we used the deck each morning for breakfast. Fantastic stay

Lovely and comfortable home away from home. Location is stellar; tons and tons of restaurants and shops within easy walking distance.

River Road Retreat was a delight to stay at, and Peter and Rebecca lovely hosts. The cottage is beautiful, clean and in a gorgeous setting surrounded by fields, and with stunning views to the hills in the distance. We loved the welcome bottle of wine and yummy nibbles, as well as the delicious breakfast served every morning. The air is fresh and clean, the water absolutely pure, and after three days we’ve returned home refreshed and reenergised. Wonderful!! Big thanks from us!!!

Loved our stay here. It was wonderful being right across the street from the beach. The cottage is equipped with what you need, and the kayaks are an amazing bonus that we really enjoyed!

We had a great stay here when we had to abort our camping trip due to the wet weather. Tineke’s place was the perfect spot for us to continue exploring the beautiful Golden Bay region and the view out to sea even on a wet misty day was stunning. Tineke was super accommodating and very responsive, we will definitely be back.

We had a lovely long weekend staying at this cottage outside Mapua. The views were incredible out every window, we loved the woodstove in the evening, the bed was comfortable and it was so peaceful! It was a quick 5 minute drive to great coffee in Mapua (recommend the Java Hut!) and we explored the Abel Tasman, the Taste Trail and even used the cottage’s kayaks on the inlet. A great stay!

We had a great time in Mapua. John and Kim were absolutely lovely and gave us very good recommendations for activities. For example we could use their bikes to go to Rabbit Island. We also had fun using their canoe. The wharf with bars and restaurants is only a short walk from the house. We would definitely stay here again.

Our family of four had a great time at Tui Cottage. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable and warm. The view and beach access is amazing. We appreciated being able to use the kayaks. Throughly recommend.

Lovely little place with all you need and a beautiful view from the deck, we loved that it was pet friendly too. David was extremely friendly and accomodating, some treats were left for us on arrival too. A good base to go exploring or just enjoy the peace and quiet with the bay close by. We would love to go back again.

This was an absolute hidden gem! David was incredibly hospitable and we felt right at home with all the special touches. I really appreciate all the effort that was put in, to making this stay feel oh so homely. Thank you once again. Joe and Za 😊

Jayne and William were warm and friendly and really took care of us. Right from the time of booking till the time they loaded up our luggage on the shuttle. Jayne was very proactive in giving us clear directions to find the place. she was very responsive while we were enroute to the cabin. The cabin itself is cozy, clean and well maintained. The basic amenities will be pretty much everything you require - a stove, compost toilet, and shower. We regret that we couldn't spend more time there and had to move on to our next post on the Queen Charlotte track. The location is spectacular and very close to the water so a quick dip or a kayak would be lovely in this place. All in all, a very pleasant time in a lovely place with wonderful people. Would recommend!

Nice chilled holiday at a good location

We enjoyed our stay at Sea and Karl's cabin. It's a great location and a very peaceful place with lovely views. Sea and Karl are very friendly and helpful. They were very welcoming when we arrived and gave us helpful info and local knowledge. They also did our few dishes for us (as there's no kitchen in the cabin) We really enjoyed meeting the goats and donkeys, they are so cute! And Fenn the dog was super friendly, an absolute joy! A lovely place to relax after exploring the amazingly beautiful area.
