The location is brilliant, overlooking Acacia Bay’s popular swimming and kayaking bay. Walk to the water in two minutes. The boat ramp is a short two min drive and we are seven minutes by car to Taupo township. The perfect spot for your next break. The views are amazing! A special Kiwi experience!

Calida's Cosy Cottage

A 5mins drive from town or the lake or a 15mins walk to either. The entire home and garden are yours to enjoy. If cosy, private, quiet and a 'Home Away From Home' are what you are looking for, this small, 2-bedroom gem is it. Suitable for a maximum of two adults, you'll find a well-equipped kitchen, 2 comfy queen beds, Smart TV, bose speaker, sun deck, coffee machine and a roaring fire each evening. Off-street parking for 2 vehicles. Rear entrance is covered so you and your gear remain dry.

Marigold Cottage - Includes Bikes & Kayaks

Beautifully presented and positioned for all-day sun, this is a great base for your next Taupo escape. Walk/bike to town and the lake, or drive in just 2 minutes. The home is warm and comfortable with a large boat shed to store your toys. There are 2 kayaks and 2 retro cruiser bikes for you to use. The kitchen and bathroom are modern with new flooring throughout. The property is fully fenced and close to several playgrounds and takeaway shops. The outdoor bath is utter bliss all year round.

Escape to 'Ewing Escape', Taupo

“WOW, the view - the photos don’t do it justice” say guests on arrival, and it’s true. The view will take your breath away day and night. Only a few hundred metres walk to Acacia Bay Beach to swim (or fish for trout) in the super clean freshwater lake. Oh, and the peace and quiet from this side of the lake. The cottage is modern, comfortable, & fully self-contained inc WM, drier and laundry powder. Only 7km to Taupo town centre so close enough to experience all Taupo township has to offer.

2 Mile Bay Guesthouse Taupō - includes breakfast

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. A quiet sheltered sunny spot a short stroll from the lake and popular 2 Mile Bay Sailing Club. Our guest wing is fully self contained and private, you can keep to yourself or we are just next door if you need anything (we are a family with 2 children aged 7 and 9). The room has separate access and soundproofing between but noting you may hear an occasional noise from us. The kitchenette provides a toaster, jug, fridge and coffee machine.

Relax in any of the thoughtfully decorated rooms, and unwind in the beautiful scenic garden. Just a short stroll (600m) to the lakes edge, or into the town centre. With a fully fenced section you can relax knowing the kids are safe playing anywhere on the property. Please note that the 4th bed is a fold down bed in the lounge.

Our modern home is 15 minutes from Taupō yet feels like a private hideaway. Quiet and secluded, it looks out to Lake Taupō and Mount Ruapehu, with stunning sunsets. Ideal year-round, it has outdoor areas with BBQ, large windows and a double-sided fireplace. Whakaipo Bay is 5 minutes away for swimming or walking, with plenty of bush tracks nearby. Not suitable for children. Hairdryer, toiletries and iron not provided (sorry guests keep taking them and it’s to hard to constantly replace).

The DECKHOUSE

Nestled in the heart of Acacia Bay, this all day, sun filled house is the place to stay. Relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings and spectacular views of lake Taupo. Open plan Kitchen dining/ lounge with heat pump/ air conditioner. Two minute walk to the lake, bush walks, Tennis courts playgrounds and popular swimming bays in Acacia Bay. Kayak hire just down the road! Local dairy and Restaurant are only a short 2 minute drive and 8 minute drive to Taupo Town. Enjoy your stay!

Taupo Garden Bungalow Retreat

Relax with the family in a peaceful garden retreat. Our 2 bedroom bungalow has the comfort of 2 air conditioners, modern kitchen and bathroom, TV nook to relax and enjoy a movie or board game. Best suited for 4 people but accept 6 (incl infants) with the sofa bed in lounge. Only 2km to the CBD (3 min drive) and the lakefront is only 1.5km away. Set in a spacious garden for the kids to play. Relax on the outdoor furniture at the front or back patios

Great location, great shower, great beds!

I’m so happy to be able to share my wonderful home with others and supplement my pension 😀 The AirBnb rooms are separate from my part of the home. There’s 2 rooms and a bathroom. The bedroom has a queen double bed. The lounge has a king double bed and couch with a tv, a microwave, toaster, jug and fridge. It is quite roomy 6x4 mtrs. There is a small step up to the shower so take care coming out of it. You will enjoy beautiful Taupo. 😎
