We love this beautiful little self contained alpine chalet style house we have created on our property. Only 15 minutes walk (or less than five minutes drive) to either the lake front or the town centre, it is perfectly situated for a break in Taupo. With a double bed , bunk beds, sofa bed, beautiful kitchenette, wood burning stove, coffee machine, large TV, lounge area, dining area and off street parking, this newly refurbished property has everything you need for a cosy and comfortable stay.

You'll have a comfortable stay in our modern, very clean, cosy & warm new-build (3 years old), self-contained 2 bedroom unit with large private deck. 4km from Taupo town in Two Mile Bay, opposite the Waipahihi Botanical Gardens and 1km from the lake foreshore. Best suited up to 4 people but allows up to 6 with the new comfy innersprung mattress type sofa bed in the lounge for guests 5 & 6. Please keep this in mind. The two bedroom cottage has a separate lounge area with a well stocked kitchenette, heat pump and large deck plus a private patio. Just down the hill is Whakaipo Bay recreational area with calm swimming waters and access to the W2K track. Our home is perfect for anyone who is looking for a rural outlook only minutes from town. It is the perfect place to sit back, relax and enjoy the view!

The Woodward Nook

This private nook is perfect for those looking to explore the region while enjoying a quiet, comfortable space to unwind. Your room includes a super king bed, couch, a kitchenette and a coffee machine. The space has its own entrance for added privacy, and you’ll have everything you need for a relaxing stay. Please note: a friendly dog lives upstairs— you will hear the occasional patter of paws. Located 3 minutes drive from town, it’s a great base to enjoy everything Taupo has to offer.

Our place is a modern, cosy, self-contained (no oven/stovetop) furnished apartment with private guest access. It is warm, sunny and close to the lake and shops. It is quiet, comfy and clean with double glazing and a modern heat pump. We welcome couples, solo adventurers, business travellers and friends. We live upstairs and try to keep noise to a minimum but you can expect to hear us sometimes. Please let us know if you’d like to use the bbq and we can arrange the gas to be connected.

Welcome to our little part of paradise, fully self contained cosy cottage, with off street parking, 5 minutes walk to the local marina and lake, stopping off for brekkie or lunch at the local cafe. For those fisherpeople you will be 10 to 20 minutes drive from world class trout/fly fishing spots. Turangi is 10 minutes drive south, with great cafes and restaurants, 40 minutes to Mt Ruapehu for fabulous skiing and the Sky Waka. Turangi is the hub for the adventure tourism activities.
