Booked fairly late but were so pleased we did. Perfect location for what we were doing and so close to lovely beaches in the area. Property was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Would definitely recommend and return in the future.

We had a lovely stay at the Barn. Steve and Tessa were great hosts and it was nice to meet the family pets too! The Barn was warm, comfortable and well equipped for our stay. It was in a superb location and we enjoyed being able to walk straight out on to the moors. Thanks for having us!

The surroundings were lovely and a large enclosed garden was great for the dog and our 3 children. we had many a happy night in the hot tub. Lots of things for the kids to play with. We drove to all the local beaches would say most things are within an hour's drive and would recommend watermouth castle as a day out if you have kids!

Had a wonderful stay. Nicola is a wonderful, warm and friendly host and was incredibly thourghful and helpful. The cottage is just stunning - in terms of facilities, location and design. Felt as home as soon as walked through the door. Nicola really has thought of everything you could need. Thank you both so much for a wonderful stay.

An ideally located cabin with beautiful surroundings it was so peaceful and tranquil we couldn't of asked for any more the cabin was spotlessly clean and very well equipped just sitting in the hot tub with a drink watching the sun set was amazing we will definatly be going back

We had a lovely relaxing stay to bring in the New Year at The Hide. Very cosy and we loved the uniqueness of your place. The hosts were super friendly and we were welcomed with homemade bread which was delicious. Thank you for a perfect start to the new year :)

Nick was amazing very helpful ,everything that was needed was there and even helped me with my log burner to get it going, the yurt was beautiful in every way and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud i liked it that much i have extended my stay here for another two weeks. I would definitely recommend staying here and would definitely stay here again thanks nick & Tracey for an amazing stay.

It's like nowhere we've stayed before and it's certainly set the bar. The decor and ambience is unmatched. Relaxing in the rocking chairs and hammock felt like something from a movie! Not to mention the tree deck, hot tub and lovely Sheppy's cider 🍻 - perfection x

I booked the horse box for my fiance birthday we arrived Just after 5pm Denise was there to greet us. the whole experience was amazing. I would 100% stay again.

what a lovely stay! Great communication throughout from Amy, making us feel very welcome. Hunters Barn was exactly as we thought it would be, in a lovely setting with friendly animals. And beautiful inside. Wish we could have stayed longer. Amy's little touches were a lovely surprise too, and the box of toys left out for our son to play with was another added bonus and very appreciated. Pleasure staying here.

My friend and I loved our stay at Monty's. The house is beautiful and everything is in its place and spotlessly clean. Maria had left us some really useful walking guides, and one of them led us to possibly the most stunning walk we had ever been on (Salcombe to Bolt Head). It was such a lovely gesture to find a yummy chocolate cake waiting for us on arrival, too. The bath was also a real treat, particularly after a long coastal hike! Thank you very much for having us, Maria, we hope to be back again! X

We stayed here for 3 nights with our dog and our 1 year old. The cottage was lovely, with a beautiful wisteria hanging over it. It was clean inside and had everything we needed for our stay, including treats and blankets for the dog, and a good travel cot and high chair for our toddler. We were made to feel welcome by the hosts and they were easily reachable, and made some good recommendations on where to visit during our stay, and on local walks. There was a welcome pack that had lots of helpful information for our stay, including where the nearest beaches were, local shops and restaurants, and on locak walks. We also loved that there was breakfast hamper waiting for us with a yummy cream tea in ut - just what we needed after a day of travelling! Iveral we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it!

A wonderful couple of days stay, we were greeted by one of the hosts and they went through everything we could need or want to use here. Clean, stylish and peaceful. The bed is a dream and we had the best nights sleep here. Will come again when we are next in the area, thank you!

After being born just five miles from offwell, and living there for many years, we thought we knew everything about the area. What a surprise and adventure we had. Stunning home and annexe, so private but open, Chris and Clare were so friendly and helpful. The grounds are kept so prestige with special homes for the wildlife watched from every direction from sitting inside or sitting outside in our garden. The annexe itself was stunning, so much thought to detail, very clean and welcoming, so much so we have booked again. Thank you for looking after us

We enjoyed a wonderful few days here. The house is exactly as described and has lovely comfy beds with beautiful linen. We all loved the river and the beautiful surroundings. It’s a lovely walk along the river to Dulverton which is a great place to explore. Thank you for such a lovely stay!

A lovely little place to stay for a couple of nights - nothing really to do in the area so more for if you’re wanting to get away from it all. Very well equipped and clean. Excellent host, really friendly and great communication. Would definitely stay again if we were to travel back to the area. We were staying for a wedding at treetop escapes - very close to the venue

We’ve just returned from a great stay at David’s cottage for New Year. The cottage is peaceful and perfect for a relaxed get away. We loved sitting in front of the log burner in the evening. David and Celia were super friendly. They gave us local recommendations which were spot on. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay over the Easter weekend and if/when we are around Dsrtmoor again, would return. A peaceful barn/cabin, with plenty of space, it was clean and pristine, and had a lovely log burner. It was just what we were looking for.

The Barn is an outstanding property. The care and attention given to every aspect of it ensures you have a wonderful stay. So much thought has gone into making it a welcoming and inviting place to stay. Loved it!

We absolutely loved our stay. The accommodation was clean and well presented and perfect for our needs. It was comfortable and spacious. Maureen was a great host, very easy to communicate with and very responsive. Our kids loved the hot tub, and the layout of the rooms worked perfectly for us. Maureen gave very clear instructions on how to find it, so we had no issues there at all. We were able to go and see the new lambs, which was wonderful and the kids also made good use of the shared play area. Barnstaple is within 15 minutes by car and so it was easy to get to the supermarket, and there are a number of local activities that can be done. We will certainly look to stay again, thank you
