The attention to detail made this interior space feel welcoming and inviting from the moment I arrived. I can't think of a thing that could have made it nicer. The views were everchanging with a variety of weather patterns during my stay. The ocean and sky were so interesting, even dramatic at times. From the windows I saw eagles, seals and the herring season that came and went, turning the water a tropical blue. So funny to see, when we know the ocean is freezing this time of year. Fishing boats were there a few days, taking their catch. Then walking in the neighbourhood, even the occasional deer to surprise you. So many paths to the beach to walk along the rocky shore when the tide is out. Daytrips are easy to go to everything, from this location. Just a short drive to the main highway and you can see so many interesting things available on central Vancouver Island. I imagine in the summer it would be even lovelier. The hosts were so friendly and helpful.

Super cozy! Great location and amazing ocean front view. The place was clean and well kept. We would definitely stay again next time we come to Qualicum.

We could not have enjoyed our stay more!!! We didn’t want to leave, in fact my little girl cried when we were packing as she was sad to be leaving. The condo was perfect and we felt instantly comfortable. Everything felt brand new and worked perfectly, there was lots of little touches which made our stay even more enjoyable. A beautifully designed space, with lots of storage, stunning ocean views (we could hear the seals playing from our bedroom)! If six stars was a choice I would have selected six! Thank you Kelly.

Even better than the pictures. Amazing view, thoughtfully appointed, and comfortable king sized bed! The property has wonderful amenities including a restaurant, gym, and spa - but it has a small intimate feel. We just wish we could have stayed longer. Hope to come back to this beautiful spot!

Space matched the photos well. Beautiful location, well appointed space with all the basics covered. We didn’t end up doing any cooking but the kitchen looked like it had everything you’d need to eat in. Conveniently located very close to the elevator, so easy to move in and out.

This is a great place with an amazing view. The hot tub added a romantic touch. Heidi’s instructions made everything so easy. I’ll definitely be coming back!

LOVED our stay here...beautiful space, extremely comfortable and clean. Linens, soaps, and kitchen supplies were exceptional. The view and location were beyond our expectations. So very peaceful and serene. Regan and her husband were so helpful....lots of local recommendations and information. Just a treat to stay here.

The place and location was amazing. Everything was perfect. The outside eating area with BBQ was better than expected/realized. The entire place looked newly renovated. The bay was great - just plan your water activities there according to the tide, because at low tide there is no water. Great location travelling to Madeira Park and Sechelt or beyond. We are looking forward to returning in the future.

Pleasant place with stunning view. Well equipped kitchen, family friendly house, with big garden. The hot tub and firepit made our stay absolutely awesome. Lots of hike around, we highly recommend the place. Hung is very friendly too.

Susanne has thought of everything. This cute cottage was spacious, well-stocked, and had wonderful thoughtful amenities to help make a trip flow smoothly (phone chargers, room divider for the pullout couch, shampoo - the list goes on!). We had a wonderful relaxing family vacation at Libby’s place. The home was very comfortable. The views were stunning! Great place to stay.

Wonderful home, full of character and incredible views! so many little thoughtful touches throughout the home. Very dog friendly with a gated side yard, and other comfortable items for your fur babies. Will definitely book again for our next stay in Courtney.

The location can't be beat! At high tide the birds and seals are so close, it is almost like being on a boat...without the rocking! While the location is the most outstanding feature of this B&B, that is not to say everything else wasn't great too, it was. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you.

We had an amazing time at this house, everything about the space was delightful, really comfortable, cozy and very well equipped. We loved Powell river and had a wonderful time including a days kayak trip in the Copeland archipelago with a local company called Footprints. Jess and Brandon were exceptional hosts, friendly, responsive and very informative regarding the house and area. I could have stayed forever!

We visited for a family trip with our toddler and our 13-year-old pug, and had a fantastic time staying at Katherine’s Airbnb. The view was stunning, and her place was spotless. We’re already looking forward to our next stay and would highly recommend staying here!

Loved this location and walking in Seal Bay Park next door. Nice to hear ocean at night. Peaceful, pretty inside, comfortable, and lots of tools for the kitchen which was great. Overall, great spot!

We had a great time at Mischa's place. We loved watching the seals from the windows and the back porch. There were lovely beach views as outlined in the listing. The binoculars in the unit definitely come in handy watching sea life. The condo was clean, quiet and had everything we needed. Mischa and Svein were easy to connect with and were kind enough to be flexible with our check-out time. We had a lovely stay.

From the moment I walked in I already couldn’t wait to come back. The view was beautiful, and the space was spacious yet cozy. Being October it was a bit cooler in Qualicum, but with the electric fireplace and baseboard heaters I didn’t feel it inside! The kitchen had so many little touches that felt thoughtful, from drinks in the fridge, spices in the cupboard, and all the utensils and pans to cook a meal in. Barry was proactive with messaging and very responsive when I had a question ahead of my stay. A perfect weekend getaway!

The Strands was a beautiful place to do a little sister trip with our little babies. It was peaceful and it was so nice being so close to the beach and the amenities of the resort available. The unit itself was amazing. It was so well decorated and beautifully designed. Everything was very well thought out and we felt really comfortable. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone!

The apartment had everything we needed and we felt right at home. The kitchen was well equipped, everything was well labelled and Andrea even had “kid” dishes so it suited us perfectly. There is a dishwasher which was great:. The place was tidy and clean. We had meals outside and enjoyed the view from the patio. The kids enjoyed the small outdoor pool which was heated. There is access to a marina from the property but no beach. Andrea was very communicative and responsive. She answered questions about the unit when needed and was helpful to provide local recommendations for beaches and things to do. We arrived late at night in the pitch dark but Andrea’s instructions to find the unit were helpful and much needed as there were no signs indicating any unit numbers that we could see. Overall it was a great stay and I would recommend Andrea’s apartment to anyone exploring Halfmoon Bay!

This was our second stay at an Airbnb in Nanoose Bay at the Pacific Shores resorts. Chelsea's place was top of the line. As described, clean and comfortable. Everything we needed and more. Comfortable for the 6 of us who stayed. We loved the location and lay out of the condo, and loved being able to utilize the resort amenities as well. We hope and plan to stay here again next year and for many more to come!

Isaac was so thoughtful, when I inquired about a pack n play he said he’d buy one for us! He’s invested in making this place great for families and it shows! The setting is wonderful, so close to the amazing beach and nestled in a beautiful woodsy spot. The place was great - very clean and had everything we could need. The beach toys and gear was the cherry on top!
