We spent a lovely month at the One Bedroom Pool Villa. We used this as a base for exploring the region with our hire car. The villa was comfortable and clean, with a kitchenette in the property itself with microwave, fridge, kettle and electric grill. Plus another kitchen for us only, a few steps away, with gas hobs. Essential pots, pans and utensils supplied. The washing machine on site was very useful and worked well. The TV is modern, the superking bed is comfy, usual Thai hardness but we like that. Shower is acceptable but not super powerful. Pool is a welcome addition when the weather is hot, and we spent quite a few half days relaxing by it. Wifi works very well. Quiet and peaceful location. Phen is a 10 minute drive away with lots of restaurant/shacks, many shops, a supermarket a few 711s, markets, a hospital, pharmacies etc The local market on Tuesday and Saturday was fun. Mainly foodstuffs. Half hour drive to the Mekong River or Udon Thani. Charles is friendly, likeable and
