If you’re looking for a cozy cottage by the lake, book this Airbnb! Not only are Sharon and Biao the most amazing hosts which made our stay smooth and effortless but their place is so welcoming that it really makes you feel at home. Prime location too as there are stores, shops and restaurants just minutes away. We also really appreciated all the small details that were put into the house like the variety of board game options or the snow melting heated mats at the front steps or all the dog necessities that were provided (yes, this place is even pet friendly for your fur babies!) Whatever you need, this place will have. The vibes were just what we were looking for in our weekend cottage getaway. We definitely had an unforgettable birthday (thank you so much Sharon and Biao for the surprise birthday sweets you prepared for us!) We are looking forward to booking again in the summer time to experience the lake and other activities. Till then! :)

Thank you Avisa for hosting us. Our family came over to visit from Ireland and we had an amazing stay at the cottage. It was beautiful, looked exactly like the photos. The family really enjoyed it. It was very spacious and peaceful. Everything we needed was provided and the kitchen is well equipped to cook up a meal. The games room was huge it kept us all entertained and the hot tub was very relaxing. We really had a great stay and we will be back for sure for another stay. Thank you very much!!

Jason had a beautiful home that we were grateful to spend our Christmas holidays at. When there was an issue with electronics that we needed help with, not only did he respond rapidly but also came in person to help rectify the issue. A beautiful home and a wonderful host. :)

This is a beautifully restored, historic school house in a wooded setting and very close to Lake Muskoka. The house is spacious with vaulted ceilings and a large, open concept kitchen and living room with a huge dining room table for entertaining. The three bedrooms are very well-appointed and we even made use of the cozy bunkie (with a space heater) which is tucked away in the trees. This was an amazing location for our family to celebrate Christmas. The owner, Eric, was very quick to respond to questions and very friendly. Highly recommend!

Laura's hospitality truly stood out; she went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for a memorable stay. The location is unbeatable. Being just a short drive to Algonquin Park allowed us to enjoy some fantastic hikes with our dog and we loved returning to the peaceful setting of the cottage afterward. This cottage is a gem, and we can't wait to return. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a serene getaway or a cozy work-from-home option.

My friends and I stayed at Michelle's cottage for the weekend - you just can't beat the location. Being just a short walk from the beach made it the perfect weekend summer getaway! The kitchen was well stocked of everything, the beds were comfortable, and if we ever had question, Michelle was quick to respond. Would definitely come back here again!

Joanna and Catalin made the trip extremely memorable for us. We traveled up to disconnect for a bit, and we felt right at home. Joanna and Catalin were always responsive and welcoming, and communicated really well. It was an easy check in and check out, without hassle. Awesome location for being close to Blue Mountain and downtown Collingwood. The townhouse is set up to host a group or families no problem! Added bonus the sauna downstairs was a great!! Plus the pool table. My friends and I stayed for our annual mom’s getaway weekend and lucked out with some sunshine, so we got to enjoy the patio , which was lovely to sit and read and see the beautiful mountain. Right away when you walk in the space is clean, inviting and organized. The beds are comfortable, and having the 2.5 baths is definitely an added bonus ! Overall we had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to come back again.
