It was beautiful to walk in the front door and see the blue Caribbean water through the back windows. We saw dolphins one morning during breakfast. While close to the road, you heard none of it from the back porch or on the beach. The house is filled with thoughtful and useful amenities. We left the marine chart book a little worse from wear on a day we rented a small skiff to explore off islands. The unit as well equipped for cooking, with utensils and dishwasher etc. The smaller your rental car the better. You want to pull in and pull out in a forward direction, which requires a tight little three-point turn under a coconut tree. Our RAV4 just made it.

the perfect jump in! We have been to Eleuthera multiple times, and we chose this place for the swimming and snorkeling. The deep water out back and jump in was exactly what we wanted. We saw so much underwater, and loved the proximity to nearby beaches. Additionally, the yoga mats + beach chairs + umbrellas were a great addition to the house. Highly recommend from our family of 5 (kids 8/10/12)

We (my wife and I) stayed at Beach Bungalow 2 for a week and loved it! The location is great - just a few steps from a wonderful beach and walking distance to Jolly Hall Beach - one of the prettiest on the island. It's also a short walk to Fish Fry - with a wonderful variety of restaurants and bars to choose from. It is centrally located for a quick car trip to Georgetown, or a good starting point to other parts of the island. The bungalow itself was beautifully appointed and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Beds were comfortable and kitchen well-appointed. Hideaways itself is has a rustic charm that we really enjoyed. Larry, the owner, is incredibly attentive and responsive, ensuring that all your needs are met during your stay. He goes above and beyond to make sure guests feel welcome and offers recommendations for activities and provides helpful tips on dining options. I can't recommend it enough for those seeking an unforgettable, peaceful Bahamian getaway!

This place is a dream come true in paradise. From the beachfront water in the ocean to the breathtaking sunrise and sunsets. Be prepared to contact the hosts right away upon booking so that you can coordinate travel from the main airport to the island. If you’re looking to relax and unplug in true serenity- this is “the best kept secret” as they say, in the Bahamas.

Andre's location is amazing. The view is absolutely stunning - we loved this house, although could use some TLC; however, the kitchen is fully equipped, so we were able to do some cooking. This house is very spacious and we really appreciated having 2.5 bathrooms. This house comes with a cooler and LOTS of towels, as well as a washing machine - you hang clothes to dry, which is easy peasy and dries quickly in the Exuma heat. We had difficulty finding this house when we first arrived, as the US sim cards we purchased did not work and Andre was also having difficulty with his internet - we should have asked for location instructions the day before. Heads up to our fellow Canadians - as Canadian travelers with our dollar being so low, we found it VERY expensive everywhere. We would still love to return here in the future- you cannot beat this chill island and Andre's location is very central - he is also local so gave us some great tips and was always available to answer our question.

The goal for our stay in the Bahamas was to relax as a family and unplug. Kevin and Opal's home was the perfect spot for us. Their home is so clean, and the hosts are so responsive. A highlight of our trip was sitting out on the back patio looking at the pool with lights hanging from the palm trees. The ocean was walkable from the house. We had fantastic food at local restaurants, all according to Opal's suggestions. What stood out to our family was the extra touches there for us. Opal greeted us with a cake and provided all we needed for breakfast for our whole trip. Kevin gave us coconuts and sugar cane, which was a hit in our family. There are speakers throughout the entire property, so we could connect our music while swimming or playing pool in the game room. If you are debating which Airbnb to choose in the Bahamas, pick this one. We will look back on this vacation as one of the best spots we have stayed. The house was so clean, and there was plenty of space for our family.

My stay at Fountain Bay was amazing! I only stayed a day but it felt like a week due to the hospitality of my host, Wendy. The resort itself sits on a beautiful beach that that is pristine. I was also blown away by the cleanliness of the rooms. Everything exceeded my expectations. Fountain Bay is a must visit. See Wendy & Thera!

This was the most beautiful beach front rental we've ever had. I'd challenge you to find something more jaw dropping GHC is a bit challenging to navigate at first but VJ really helped us figure out the island. We would have had a terrible experience had it not been for him The host, Yarlene, was not a great communicator. This may be due to a language barrier but there's a clear reason for having VJ as the acting host The house was everything we needed and had all the expected amenities. Things are getting a little beat up Access to groceries on the island are limited but did not stop us from getting what we needed for the bare essentials. Make sure to call ahead to any of the restaurants to ensure they're open. Best to make a reservation Jolie at the Native Hut on the main road was an absolute delight! Great food and super reliable

You can walk to Moss Town beach and enjoy. It’s very close to the airport. The house is spacious and had multiple TVs and WiFi to unwind after a day. Having the comfort of a full home was great. The owner was very accommodating and responded to text quickly.

A simply beautiful and stunning oasis of peace away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. Beautiful and tranquil space and very friendly and helpful host. Felecia drove us to and from the airport, as well as to and from the local market. It was a serene location that we look forward to visiting in the future!!

Small, quaint and very clean hotel right behind Staniel Cay airport. There is a yummy cafe onsite and a pool in the courtyard. Staff is very personable and helpful. Staniel Cay is amazing. This boutique is the icing on the cake. I didnt want to leave!!!!

This was my dream vacation spot: aqua/turquoise waters. The water will not disappoint, it is so clear straight to the bottom no matter what the depth! We utilized all the information Larry provided to us beforehand and all came in very handy! It was the easiest check in and check out procedures, Larry always responded to me very quickly, and was very friendly. They went above and beyond as a host and appreciate all they did for us before and during our stay! The studio room was super clean, beautifully decorated, and great location (we felt the best central location on Exuma). While we were there we enjoyed a boat tour with Robert's island Adventures for a full day 8 hour tour, great day and a must! Another must is to take a water taxi over to Stocking island! We loved Jolly Hall beach: walk from the Hideaways beach, you cross over a private road to get onto the beach, our favorite spot! We loved Shirley's: lunch: grouper sandwich & seafood wrap! Locals in the Bahamas: SO nice!
