Christine and Kylie were a delight to deal with—friendly, proactive, and always reachable, they promptly answered all our queries. Every interaction with them was a pleasure! The cottage is exactly as described; everything functioned perfectly, and the setting is simply beautiful. The pet-friendly aspect was a lovely bonus. We found this property to be charming and cannot recommend it highly enough. We will definitely be returning, as it’s perfectly located for our needs. Cozy, clean and private - a great weekend getaway! Rebekah was very communicative leading up to the stay and even throughout it with activity suggestions. The kitchen is well stocked, the hot tub was a great perk, and the trail leads to a beautiful pond!

The cottage is so cozy and clean. The space had everything we needed for a weekend getaway with our dogs. The neighborhood is great and so close to the beach which would be a great perk in the summer.

We had an amazing time at Hala's place, it is in the most majestic cottage setting less than an hour from the city. there is lots to do around the area and we enjoyed a day at the nearby Vetta Spa. Hala is an excellent host who was very responsive and was very flexible when it came to both check in and check out times. I would highly recommend a stay at Hala's place, we very comfortably slept 6 people for a bachelor party weekend and the cottage could even probably accommodate a slightly larger group. Thanks again for making our weekend Hala!

Our family had a great stay at Sage Home's condo. Very spacious and clean. The host was friendly, communicative and very responsive. We had a couple of small issues during our stay and they were very quick to resolve. The location was great and only a short drive to Horseshoe Valley ski resort. Unfortunately, the pool was closed during our stay, but this will be a great added amenity when it opens. Thanks for hosting us!

I enjoyed a peaceful 2 weeks at this beautiful Airbnb! The setting is surreal surrounded by nature and a river! I had everything I needed and I enjoyed a few nights with a cozy fire in the wood stove. The bed and couches were very comfortable. The No Frills in Shelburne was a great grocery store nearby. Wendy was always very responsive and helpful. As clearly noted in the description, there is no cell service but not a big deal as there is wifi. I hope to be back again one day! A true gem!

Hands down the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in After almost three years of Airbnbs around the world, this one in Canada tops them all. We stayed in both the Lookout (the little house) and the Pine Lodge (above the store)—and didn’t want to leave. The Lookout felt like a cozy sanctuary: garden, sauna, spotless, fully equipped. The Pine Lodge had a steam room (huge bonus!), comfy couches, a big dining table, and a fire always going. But what made it truly special were Krystal and Madison—the kindest, most caring hosts we’ve ever had. It felt like arriving at friends’, not strangers’. During a freak ice storm, they moved us to a backup-powered house and even brought us food. Just wow. Local tips: • Cawaja Store: best coffee, insane ice cream, and local broths, pies, soups. • Mums Restaurant: old-school diner, fresh, cooked-to-order food. • The Friendly Corner: lovely for sunny outdoor meals.

We loved the place! It was beautifully decorated and everything was really great quality. The resort is quiet and I felt very safe. They even left a surprise bag of popcorn which was a cute little delight we got to share. Sounds kind of dumb but places really aren’t putting in effort these days. We had some trouble and the host and cohosts were very quick to respond and fix. We enjoy Friday Harbour and would stay at their place again the next time we visit.

Great weekend getaway spot for our little family. The pool, playground and pathways for the kids to bike were perfect. We had a dog with us and the grassy space made for easy trips out. The room was clean, check in was easy, and Tim was super responsive. Would definitely book again.

Olga’s place is absolutely amazing! From start to finish it was a breeze communicating with her! Her beautiful apartment was extremely spotless upon arrival - almost like brand new! Everything you could need. The bed is very comfortable and the sheets are so soft! Her decorations are very tasteful! The balcony is super cute and clean! The view is great. I had a great nights sleep - no noise! She was very accommodating to any needs I had. The internet is also great for working from home with fast speeds! The pictures really do look EXACTLY as advertised which is refreshing! One of the best places I have stayed in through AIR BNB. I’d 100% recommend Olga’s place to anyone and I’ll definitely be back in the future! :)

The cottage was clean and cozy and we had a lovely stay! Katrina was accommodating and friendly! I would highly recommend staying here, it has a lot to offer! A fenced in front yard was a bonus for our dog, the hot tub was a luxury and the wood burning fireplace added a special ambiance. It is peaceful being surrounded by trees and a conservation area and felt very private. The short walk to the lakefront was enjoyable. We definitely had a fabulous and relaxing time and wouldn’t hesitate to go back again!!

Jennifer and Nigel were so friendly and accommodating. We came up after a huge snowfall and they spent a lot of time clearing it so it was easy to drive our car in and walk to the bunkie. They even took the time to set up a fire in the pit outside and pre-warmed the bunkie (it was -23 the night we stayed!) we were cozy and comfortable for the night we stayed. Would definitely recommend Jennifer and Nigel’s bunkie in the pines.

We spent a wonderful two nights at Karen and Steven’s airbnb. We unexpectedly had the first snow of the year during our stay and it was like a magical winter wonderland. We felt so cozy inside with the fireplace watching the snow slowly falling outside. We went on an amazing hike on old baldy trail which was easily accessed right from the backyard of the property on foot. They provided great recommendations for restaurants and given the snow, we were thankful that we had great walkable options. We so hope to be able to come back and would recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in the woods and nature. Yurt was creative way to stay in the woods. We stayed in march, still snowfall but not too cold. Separate sauna is a treat. Read amenities so no surprises of what to expect. Overall, a lovely stay. Hosts are friendly and responsive and helpful. Knowing how to start wood fires is useful skill to get sauna and make use of fire pits, wood is provided by hosts. Would recommend to those who are looking for "glamping" type experience. We enjoyed our stay.

Always a wonderful stay here. Clean and cozy cabins next to the beautiful creek. This is truly a slice of heaven. Scott is always such a fantastic host and makes sure you have a very relaxing stay. Can't wait for my next visit.

Our family had a great weekend away at the cottage! The place was very private, with beautiful surroundings, and clean. Communication was great, and I liked that Andrea gave us a tour when we arrived. The sunset view was lovely too. I’d love to come back when it’s warmer. Highly recommended!

I felt at home in this cozy cabin immediately. It had everything I needed and it was obvious they take great pride in the place and put a lot of work into it. Got a super warm welcome from Ann who was very helpful and gave me a tour. Lots of helpful instructions which I appreciated. Loved the outdoor shower and the yard. 🤩 The a/c was an added bonus too on a weekend in September that was a bit humid. Location close to Lake Simcoe and lots of parks.
