It's 5 mins in the car or 12 mins walk down the hill, to the shops, hotels, bars restaurants, banks and Grand Anse beach. Parts of the hill are quite steep to walk back up, but without the steep hill, you wouldn't get the beautiful scenic views on our veranda. So if you are not physically fit to walk up a steep hill each day, car or taxi hire needs to be considered.
