A great place to have a pic nic and play in the river! Located just after entrance of Pisgah National Forest.

So many great hikes branch from here! You'll experience the beautiful forest, the rushing water, the moss and slate rocks and small and large waterfalls that come with the rains. AND you can swim (when there are no flood warnings) or fish. And it’s a great picnic spot. 5 mins from the Oakwood Hideaway.

Is a picnic area with river access located near the entrance of Pisgah National Forest. Has shallow beachy areas for small children to play. My older kids and I enjoy taking tubs and floating down the river.

This is a great spot to go tubing on the Davidson river. Tubes can be rented from a nearby shop.
