The Old Sailor is an ideal place to start the Dinas Head circular walk. Passing through Cwm-yr-eglwys. Remains of a church set back from the sea. Sit outside with sea view across to Fishguard. You may see the Ferry going out to Ireland..

This pub is a MUST for a cream tea or a Sunday lunch after a walk from Cwm-Yr-Eglwys. You can can either do the 2 hours round the coastal path or the 25minute walk through the woods.

This is a great find and one for the whole family. On the coast walk and beach at Pwllgwaelod (4 miles in the Newport Direction), this cosy restaurant serves fantastic local seafood (order the dressed crab when in season). There are great views from the tables outside overlooking the beach. In the winter join the locals for a yummy Sunday lunch. Best to book. (Very relaxed and casual dress code, popular with walkers and perfect for children/dogs too.)
