Really great food at this tiny Thai restaurant just down the road from the cottage. Very popular so best to book ahead. Get the sharing starter plate, and look out for the decorative carrot sculptures! Vegan, veggie and gluten free options as well as really friendly staff.

The BEST Thai in the area. YOU MUST BOOK, it's tiny. Have pre-diner drinks next door at the Emporium wine merchants, open late with tastings, so try something new.

34 Lansdown Pl, Lewes BN7 2JU Erawan is a wonderful (and very busy) little Thai restaurant in the centre of Lewes. Its unlicensed (so take your own booze). It's a family favourite of ours. They do take away of course - just phone ahead. If you want to eat there its essential to book ahead.
