Hay on Wye is a lovely market town, and the market on Thursday’s are good,. There is a great dog friendly tapas restaurant which is great for lunch, it’s called Tomatitoes Tapas Bar

The Thursday market is well worth a visit. Enjoy the hussle and bussle, find fresh fruit and veg, meats, fish or buy something tasty to enjoy later. Lots of food offerings here alongside antiques, plants and socks! Get there before 2.30 as its usually packing away by then!

Great selection of stalls with fabulous cheese, fish and pastry stalls, some near the town clock, others in the Market Square and some tucked away in the Cheese and Butter Market, so you need to explore.

Fantastic market on a Thursday full of freshly baked bread, cakes, veggie scotch eggs, soups, plus a charcuterie stall, fish, fruit and veg, socks and loads more!
