A local favorite. Pit beef is a smoked roast beef, and comes in a sandwich. My favorite: the Triple D - a massive roll stuffed with pit beef, pastrami, and sausage, slathered in their tiger sauce.

North Carolina and Kansas are supposed to have the best BBQ and I've had both of those. Neither can come close to Chaps Pit Beef. Featured as one of the best on the Food Network.
