In Old Town. Traditional seaside chippy. Seating outside, or you can cross over the road and enjoy it on the beach. But beware of the seagulls!

Best Fish & Chips in Margate. There will always be a queue, but it's worth the wait.

An excellent tiny Fish & Chip shop opposite the harbour and near the Turner Contemporary in Margate. This is a real find for fresh and freshly-cooked fish, and very good chips. Very friendly, quick and lively service, too, but expect cues at tithe weekends and peak times. The prices are great with large portions, served in a cardboard box with wooden forks. Standing-room only indoors, but a few chairs and tables outside. Really recommended.
