This park has all the amenities of a state or national park, including hiking and biking trails, full hookup RV and also primitive (tent) campsites. Plenty of public bath houses. Several different trails with several difficulty levels (the 1 or so mile trail along the river is very nice). Everything is well preserved and the sites are nice and mostly level for many different lengths of RV's. They also have cabins for rent which are very nice and relatively new (within last 8 years).

As Alan Jackson once stated, "Way down yonder on the Chattahoochee"... Chattahoochee Bend State Park showcases a spectacular tract of wilderness in northwest Coweta County. Located in a graceful bend of the Chattahoochee River, the park is a haven for paddlers, campers and anglers. At 2,910 acres, Chattahoochee Bend is one of Georgia’s largest state parks, protecting five miles of river frontage. A boat ramp provides easy access to the water, while more than six miles of wooded trails are open for hiking and nature photography. An observation platform provides nice views of the river and forest.

This is a new state park so they are expanding the trails almost weekly. Camp, backpack, hike, rent a kayak shoot the 'Hooch.
