Monster sulpher spewing hot spring tourist trap with cool back onsen eggs for sale. Often too crowded for my taste but the hike from Souan Station to here is awesome. You can take the ropeway back.

箱根に来たら必ず立ち寄るスポットです。 ロープウェイで上がっていくと景色も楽しめる、 丘の上の小屋まで歩き黒たまごを食べたかったのです。 ロープウェイ横のお土産やさんで販売している黒たまごを購入できます。

早雲山駅から桃源台駅を結ぶ箱根ロープウェイ。眼下には噴火口、四季折々の箱根の自然を楽しむことができます。黒たまごが有名。 The Hakone ropeway which ties Tougenndai station from Souunzan station. It's possible to enjoy nature in Hakone of a crater and each season under the eyes. Black egg is famous.
