Beautiful hike up a creek to some waterfalls. Buy tickets in advance. Kannarafalls.com

A Utah Hidden Gem located less than 15 miles away. One of my favorite places in Utah. Must have a permit before arrival (12$ per person) usually booked months in advance. Prone to flooding so weather and season are important. Recommend you carry water and wear water shoes.

This has a pay booth at the trail head. The fee includes your parking.

A fairly easy couple hour hike about 40 minutes south from us on the way to Zion.

While this hiking trail is a bit further outside of St. George, it is definitely worth the drive and hike. Take lots of water and shoes that you don't care if they get muddy and wet. A permit is required for the group and possibly $8/person (I would take cash just in case but it might be by vehicle). The hike is moderate difficulty level and 4.8 miles round trip. Check out pics online and go prepared!
