10 mins away by car is a spectacular tor of of gritstone rocks perched on the ridge between the Alport - Winster road and Harthill Moor. Great walks, amazing views and a popular area for climbing.
If you've ever seen the iconic Princess Bride film from the late 1980s or many other period dramas for that matter, you may recognise these craggy, rocky outcrops. There are world renowned scrambles and bouldering for all ages and abilities and the sunsets from here are truly stunning. Not far from the Nine Ladies circle, supposedly Robin Hood jumped from one Peak to another! You can climb to the top but be careful!
Beautiful rocky outcrop surrounded by walks (dogs on leads as it's surrounded by farmland). Popular with climbers and walkers, we love a trip here as it's just so beautiful.
