The Incline is a vertical trail carved straight-up the mountain in Manitou Springs that is nationally known. It is a great hike with sweeping views. There are lots of other trails in the area.

The famous Incline hike is 2,744 steps with a total elevation gain of 2,000 ft. in under one mile. Free reservations are required. There are a couple parking options so decide in advance.

A real challenge for hiking lovers! *Not kid-friendly* This is an advanced hike that gains nearly 2,000 feet in elevation in less than a mile. The base of the Incline is located in Manitou Springs near the base of the Barr Trail and across the street from the Cog Railroad. Note: - Pet are not allowed - The Incline will be CLOSED on July 17th from 6:00-11:00, September 17th from 6:00-9:00, and September 18th ALL DAY due to special events

It's not for the faint of heart, but people from all walks (or climbs) of life have successfully conquered it.
