The second-to-last time I ate McDonald's was in 2003. I remember, because it was during a breakup. That guy loved his Big Macs! The last time I ate in McDonald's, I was in Thailand, and McDonald's had the best air conditioning - sometimes you just gotta chill out! There's also something to be said for predictable. Oh, and it's open 24 hours.

I mean, it’s McDonald’s so you know what you’re getting, and it’s an affordable choice for those who are traveling alone, or for couples that want a quick meal. It’s also a great choice for families because there are lots of tables for inside dining. It’s the original McDonald’s in Calgary, so it’s a historic landmark ( I know!) for the community of Mount Pleasant. Just a 5 min walk from my Airbnb :)
