Beautiful campus for strolling around on a nice day. If you've never been, it's worth a wander. The library is a must see, go to the "Harry Potter reading room", absolutely beautiful! They also have two museums on campus: The Burke Museum (Washington State Museum of Natural History and Culture) and The Henry (Contemporary Art Gallery).
Famous for its extraordinary profusion of cherry blossoms in the spring, the campus of collegiate gothic structures is charming year-round. The view of Rainier from Drumheller Fountain is breathtaking. Easily accessible from the UW light rail station.
University of Washington has a beautiful, large campus filled with lovely plantings. It is fun to walk around any time of year, but if you’re in Seattle during the time the Yoshino Cherry trees flower in early spring going to visit the “Quad” on campus is a must. The large garden filled with mature cherry trees in bloom is truly magical.
One of the prettiest campuses in the world. Don't miss the cherry blossoms in 'The Quad' mid-March.
