Lorraine and Abbey are lovely and have recently taken over, they do good food at reasonable prices. The garden is lovely and backs onto the forest. With the occasional tribute band

A lovely country pub, very good food, and a large garden ideal for children with the forest out the back. Accessible from the back via a path from the end of Beecham Lane, perhaps after a forest walk or bike ride.
