We prefer local producers and aim to use the best seasonal ingredients and what our own forests and waters have to offer, such as fish, game, mushrooms and berries. The Ahlström Voyage exhibition displayed in an old workshop offers an interesting peek to the history of Ahlström companies and Finnish industrial history over more than 160 years. For example, the exhibition presents art glass produced by Iittala, Karhula and Riihimäki- glass factories, which belonged to Ahlström- a number of unique pieces of the Savoy vase designed by Alvar Aalto, an impressive collection of Tapio Wirkkala's production and Orchid by Timo Sarpaneva. Koko Ahlströmin alue on täynnä upeita rakennuksia ja puutarhaa. Jos majailee Porin suunnalla niin ehdottomasti pitää väjintäänkin ajella autolla alueen läpi ja vaikka ihan pysähtyä katselemaan paikkoja.
