Perry Wood is a very special ancient woodland lying in Selling and Chilham parishes. It is designated as a Local Wildlife Site, used mostly for wildlife conservation and quiet recreation. The views are stunning and panoramic giving a unique perspective on the landscape of this part of the Kent Downs AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty).
