On the grand circle of outstanding red rock scenery. A prominent feature of the 229 mile² park is Zions Canyon, which is 15 miles long and up to half a mile deep, cut through the reddish and tan colored Navajo sandstone by the North fork of the Virgin river. The lowest elevation is 3666' at coalpits wash and the highest is 8726' at horse ranch mountain.
Only a short drive away with beautiful scenery all the way. Go for the day and plan on eating in Springdale after a long hike or just to enjoy the vibe of a unique town with a diverse offering of dining and shopping.
One of the most famous national parks in the country, Zion is a must visit if you've never been. Feel free to reach out if you want any hike recommendations!
