The entire area is wonderful. You have a park with a bridge across the James River. You can walk a suspension bridge to Belle Island, the Civil War prison island. From there you have a close up view of the rapids and Hollywood cemetery. Or you can visit the civil war museum. Rain or Shine there is something to do.

I actually recommend it as something historic about Richmond. It’s interesting and two wonderful bridges that cross the river to Belle Isle
