Montauk Light was the first lighthouse in New York State, and is the fourth-oldest active lighthouse in the United States. The tower is 110'6" high. The Lighthouse Grounds, Museum and Gift Shop are now open 7 days a week, from 10:30 to 5:30, weather permitting.

No out east getaway is complete without reaching 'The End'. Dramatic bluffs and lovely beaches come together for the picture perfect vacation card.

You haven't truly done The Hamptons until you make it to The End -- Montauk! There's a lot to do, see and eat here, but the Lighthouse is iconic and the views are stunning.

Worth the ride to the end of Long Island! Situated on a State Park, you can tour the grounds and walk up to the top, then walk along the coastline for breathtaking views.

Simple destination, worth the price of admission ($10), walk or hike along the grounds, climb among the boulders and rocks to the historic coastline beach.
