Easy boardwalk (steep in places) to see the most magical pools. The forest walk is lovely and kids will love the swing bridge. Approx. - 25-35 min walk

This is a 45 minute drive from Escape on St Aubyn to begin a Short hike through Mt Taranaki’s native bush to a swing bridge and very scenic Wilkes pools which are a series of pools that flow from one to another.

Best in Summer. A 20-minute walk from the DOC Visitor Centre carpark on well-maintained track. Rock pools in a refreshing mountain stream. Bring your swimsuit!
