Park here for a challenging and scenic hike right on the Appalachian Trail!. Only 10 minutes drive from the cabin. About 1.5 miles in you come to a meadow with long range views - you will see our cabin in the distance! Continue on as far as you are able - 6.5 miles away is the stunning Big Bald.

One of our favorite hikes in the area. It's about a 10 mile hike from start to finish and loops over the Bald Mountain. It's a beautiful place to unplug and sightsee.
