1hr drive to Celestun where you will see the flamingos and it is a hatching ground for endangered sea turtles. The Celestún Biosphere Reserve is declared a World Heritage Site since 1979 and spans more than 21 km.

Celestún is one of the best places to sighseeing flamingos and other bird species, only take a bus from the station at the 67 street between 50 and 52. There are buses to Celestún every hour from 6 am to 8 pm. Its a two hours trip.

Celstum ria is a Biosphere natural resreve with a magnificient diversity of wildlife such as Flamingos, tropical birds, crocodiles and fresh water springs in the middle of the mangroves.
