the castle from Federica of Swabia II, nice view and amazing live concerts during the summer.
Castello Maniace was built by the will of Federico II, between 1232 and 1240. The square-plan building is closed by a mighty perimeter wall with four cylindrical towers at the corners. The name dates back to the Byzantine general Giorgio Maniace, who reconquered the city from the Arabs in 1038.
