Ben’s favorite haunt, with a consistent local crowd. Reasonable prices, indoor and outdoor seating, and remote work friendly. Very unique space, with a punk rock / skater vibe. Try the ham and cheese croissant, sourced locally from Bridgeport Bakery, or the Mackalope sandwich for breakfast - pancakes instead of bread!

Eclectic Coffee and Tea house very close to home. What a relief, a neighborhood coffee house where you can chill and use the internet. The locals come in and out, some newbies too.

Affordable Coffee spot with awesome snacks and without the pretense. This is in the Beautiful Bridgeport neighborhood, just north west of the BNB which has a Low Key art scene and nightlife along Morgan and Halsted Streets ( between 31st-35th streets). There are several coffeeshops in Bridgeport, all are great and serve a different crowd. Jackalope is affordable, the vibe is more eclectic in decor and crowd, has a varied menu selection, and is the choice spot for the locals.
