Kids will have fun searching for crabs and other sea life in tidal pools, and the views from this spot will make you feel as if you've left Rhode Island behind. There is a small parking area at the trailhead on Ocean Road, about three miles south of Narragansett Town Beach. An easy hike of less than a mile leads to this rocky spot on the coast where you can fish or picnic.

A beautiful coastal walk in Narragansett. Either stay on the gravel road or go down to the beach for beach glass hunting or scamper over large boulders on the coast as the waves crash over into tidal pools. Cool place. Just be careful near the water - don't step on black rocks (slippery).
Bring picnic and fishing rods, because Black Point is the place to do it. Enjoy long paths along the shore and beautiful landscapes. As an added bonus, the trail leads you to Scarborough Beach!
