Free attraction. Beautiful views of San Diego, even father on a clear day.

The drive up to the Mt. Soledad Veterans Memorial is pretty impressive. It's a very windy road, but the views are amazing. At the top, you can view photos and information about the veterans represented there. Finding anyone specific could take a while, but it's nice to think about and appreciate even the people you don't know. You can really see out across the valley from the hilltop, too. Worth the drive, but it's truly just the memorial - no shops or information center.

It's free, the view is incredible, you can briefly park and see all the way to Mexico and then decide whether you want to go out in Pacific Beach or La Jolla

Enjoy some 360 degree views of San Diego on one of the tallest mountains in the area without having to do a strenuous hike. Just Drive up and park! This is also home to the National Veterans Memorial. Thank you to our Troops!
