Built in 1892, the historic The Punta Higuera Lighthouse rises over 100 feet and is still fully operational. The park surrounding the lighthouse is a tranquil place, perfect for a sunset picnic overlooking the surf breaks, where sometimes humpback whales come within 100 yards of the coast.

Beautiful and historic lighthouse. Beautiful park and surroundings. Great spot to watch surfers at Indicators Point and Domes. Grab food at the bar or do some whale watching in season between January and end of March.
