A wonderful park complete with a lake for horseback riding, boat rides, ice skating in the winter, zoo, and lovely farmer's market on the weekends. In the summer you can attend free concerts and movie nights. this is the Brooklyn version of central park!
People don’t realize the amazing and huge parks carved out all over NYC. Prospect park is one of the biggest and just up the street. There is a restaurant, botanical garden and lots of walking or biking paths to enjoy. There is even horse back riding available.
Take a walk through the meadows and paths, enjoy the lakeside or visit the food stalls on sundays
Fields of rolling green, a lake, a zoo and so much more. What else do you need in a park?! One of my favorite parks in New York.
The nearest off-leash field. Off-leash hours are 9pm - 9am. If you go - tell the other humans that you know Columbo & Anthony. You'll instantly make friends and feel like a true Brooklynite.
This is considered “The Central Park of Brooklyn” by locals. This large park has expansive walking and biking trails along fields, woods, and a lake. This is a great place to enjoy a picnic and, in the summer, they have many free evening events like live music and movies on the lawn.
The lovely Prospect Park is a 10-15 minute walk from us and really gives a glimpse of Brooklyn life. Turn left on Ft. Hamilton and walk straight- you’ll run smack into the park. In the summer time there are non-stop events including free concerts, movies, and dance performances. In the winter there…
Our pride and joy in the neighborhood. Farmer's Market on Saturdays at Grand Army Plaza. Visit their site for current activities.
You're minutes away from this Brooklyn gem. If you're around when the weather is nice, come here early in the morning (before 9am) to see the giant green field FILLED with pups... Or later on during the day to see it filled with folks soaking up the good weather.

“One of Kings County’s preeminent cultural institutions, this 560,000-square-foot venue made history as the first American museum to exhibit African objects as artwork. In addition to the more than 4,000 items in the Egyptian holdings, museumgoers can scope pieces by masters such as Cézanne, Monet and Degas, plus an entire center devoted to feminist art. (The venue is the permanent home of Judy Chicago’s massive installation The Dinner Party.)”
