Pattaya has a 4 km stretch of bustling beach offering numerous water sport activities, including scuba diving, wind surfing, banana boating, parasailing, jet skiing and deep-sea fishing to name a few. Trips to the nearby islands, including the scenic island of Koh Larn (Coral Island) are also available from here. Being floodlit at night the beach can be enjoyed at any time! Along the beach you will find large umbrellas and beach chairs, offering you shade from the hot sun, and areas to relax and enjoy food and drinks served to your tables from the beach vendors. The northern part of Pattaya Beach is the quietest area, and the beach gets busier as you head south, with more beach chairs, vendors and sports activities.
