Literally just down the hill from Goonlaze Cottage! At 2 minutes walk this is the first place on the list. It’s a small but lively bar and restaurant open all year round. The atmosphere is laid back and casual with a good value, fixed price lunch menu of £7.50. There’s cosy spots inside and seating outside so you can take your dog. They often have live music on Friday or Saturday nights and everyone spills out all over the place. The Taphouse* - 01872 553095 A lively pub with an eclectic menu including steaks, pizzas and poke bowls. They offer a wide range of vegan and vegetarian options. Live music is a regular feature. 2 minute walk. Year round opening.
