If you want to see alligators and other wildlife, this is the place to visit. Run by the Charleston County Parks Department, this is a real must see if you have the time.

Miles of serene nature trails for bird watching and even a little gator viewing. Only a 20 minute drive from town so it’s a great option for seeing Lowcountry nature without driving far!

Never been here . Just down the road 2 miles. My kids enjoyed it and said there was trails through the swamp.
