A lot of History resides in Fremantle, and this is one of the highlights. Don't miss it.

The Roundhouse is the oldest public building in the State of Western Australia. Opened in January 1831, just 18 months after settlement, it was built to hold any person convicted of a crime in the settlement and was used until 1886. It's quite pleasant to have lunch or buy an ice-cream at the fishing boat harbour and walk up the hill to check out this iconic Fremantle site.

Some convict history at the old Roundhouse Prison/museum. There are also several art Galleries nearby and walking distance to both Fishermans harbour and the e-sheds market
