There's good food and a kids play area at the recently rebadged Mercure Resort at Gerringong. Especially go for the Saturday High-Tea at Bellachara which is Saturdays (12 noon to 3pm).

A fine dining experience offering modern Australian cuisine and excellent service with a great wine list. Located at the Mercure Hotel, Bella Char also offer "High Tea Heaven", on the first Saturday of each month where you can select from savoury and sweet delights with a glass of bubbly...bookings are essential girls!

Great restaurant. Also have a bar with cocktails etc. Can be quiet.
