Grange gardens were once the private garden of the grange built in 1542 by William Newton and briefly the home of John Evelyn the diarist.
The Grange is beautiful in any weather. There is a small cafe serving hot drinks and snacks in the warmer months.
Beautiful & peaceful gardens set in front of an impressive 16th century manor house. During the summer months there is a kiosk where you can buy drinks, ice creams, cakes and sandwiches.
Local park established in the 16th century. Features gardens, a stream and a terrace with a couple of sculptures. Good place to relax in the summer or go with a picnic. By the terrace there is a kiosk where one can get tea, coffee, cakes and sandwiches. The Sussex Guild Shop and Gallery is located in the Grange and exhibit some lovely local crafts, including jewellery, ceramics, and textiles etc. Well worth a visit. You can stroll through the gardens on your way to visit Anne of Cleves House!
