What other town has a great French restaurant attached to a gas station? Great lunch and dinner - but take cash as they don't accept credit cards. And they don't take reservations, so be prepared to wait for a table at popular times.

One of my top favorite restaurants. Yes, this restaurant is located in the same building as a gas station, but don't let that fool you. Caffé Rel brings amazing food and a wonderful ambiance. Be sure to check days/times open and to bring cash since they do not accept cards. (ATM beside them.)

Great little place in Franklin. Has something for everyone, heavy on pasta dishes. Cakes are amazing! You can purchase beer next door to take with you. Cash only- so please hit the ATM.

If you are interested in a really great place to eat, we have a restaurant in town that has been featured on the food network. 459 E Main Street, Franklin, NC 28734 Open 11-2:30 Lunch; 3:30- 8:00 Supper, Wednesday-Saturday. Cash only no reservations. It is connected to the Hot Spot gas station but they serve amazing dishes. We have eaten there several times. In fact we have met people who come from Asheville to eat here. Their prices are reasonable with a lot of options on the menu.

Best food ever. Check with days and times open. No reservations accepted, first come first serve. Cash or checks only. Deserts excellent.
